voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang redefines coastal living by the bay with “Rhythm by the Bay” and the debut of The Show

Nha Trang, Vietnam, 24 June 2026 – Marking a vibrant June on Nha Trang Bay, voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang introduces “Rhythm by the Bay,” a two‑weekend wellness journey celebrating Global Wellness Day and International Day of Yoga, while debuting “Symphony of the Bay”, a new dining‑entertainment show at The Show. Curated as a blend of immersive wellness experiences, creative collaborations, and a multi‑sensory culinary performance, the programme reflects the hotel’s evolving vision as a destination where wellbeing, culture, and gastronomy intersect – reframing wellness as something shaped by everyday choices rather than occasional escapes. 

A contemporary approach to wellness: Finding joy in an active, ocean-inspired lifestyle 

In celebration of Global Wellness Day 2026, held under the 15th‑anniversary theme #JoyMagenta, voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang collaborated with Rainbow Divers Vietnam (PADI) and Evolve Wellness Center to introduce joy‑centered wellness experiences.

A guided scuba diving session at the infinity pool of Infini Bleu invited guests to sync their breath with the water and rediscover free, playful movement beneath the surface, while restorative treatments at the Spa Center offered moments of deep release, relaxation, and recalibration – all on a dedicated wellness floor on level 05 of the building. Both experiences shared a simple, ocean‑inspired idea: when the body is cared for, whether through intentional treatments, gentle seaside movement, or active coastal sports, joy becomes one of the most natural and accessible expressions of wellness in everyday life.

Wellness discovered across space and time, through movement, breath, and creative expression

At the heart of the programme is a guided creative wellness journey led by Henri Hubert, Global Wellness Day Ambassador of Vietnam, designed to show how wellbeing can be creatively woven into an ordinary day. The journey unfolded across different stops, offering ways to experience wellness through the energy of the surrounding environment: the clean, refreshing energy of a well-kept space with voco’s standards; the familiar gym setting where self-compassion can power up your routine; the unexpected fun of turning up music to dance simple choreography tutored by Singer Doan Trang; and the hands-on preparation of fresh, farm-to-table ingredients reminding that nourishment begins with making health-conscious decisions.

Guests continued to partake in sunrise yoga and a sound bath session under the guiding of Yoga Pod Saigon, set against the expansive view of Nha Trang Bay. In the spirit of International Day of Yoga, the experience opened to participants different ways for embracing yoga as a gentle holistic practice. Surrounded by morning light, open air, then the natural vibrations of sound therapy, guests were encouraged to take in the energy of nature and reconnect with how wellness can be lived quietly and continuously across everyday spaces.

The debut of The Show, featuring the signature dinner experience Symphony of the Bay

As “Rhythm by the Bay” reached its finale, voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang opened the door for guests to immerse into a vibrant night at The Show, the hotel’s new show‑dining concept where culinary experiences unfold through live performance, themed ambience, and immersive storytelling. Developed as a signature experience for the Northern Nha Trang coastline, The Show reflects voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang’s broader vision to create a destination for a distinctive hospitality offering.

Justin Malcolm, General Manager of voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang, shared the strategy behind The Show: “When we first imagined this concept, we knew we wanted to create something that could only happen here at voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang. Our ambition has always been simple: to create a place that people would choose to visit not only for a room, but for the experiences, the stories, and the memories they take away with them. That is why the launch of The Show means so much to us.”

The debut evening introduced the first chapter, “Symphony of the Bay” inviting guests on a multi‑sensory underwater journey. Musical acts, theatrical performances, and magic illusion were interwoven between serving courses, transforming the dining room into a stage and bringing the open kitchen into the heart of the performance.

Blending French finesse with local flavours, the culinary journey came to life under the hands of Chef Huy Tran, Executive Chef of The Show; Chef Sakal Phoeung, President of the Disciples Escoffier Vietnam; Chef Pierre Meneau; Chef Galli Gilles; Chef Tsuruhara Shozo; Chef Olivier Genique; and Chef Kiet Huynh, all brought together under the narrative of Tracie May, the enchanted mermaid – keeper of Scenia Bay. Each chef brought a distinct culinary personality to the seven-course menu, contributing different techniques, flavours, and interpretations to the evening. Together, their creations formed a cohesive story of Nha Trang Bay, with each dish unfolding as its own act within the larger, unique symphony of Scenia Bay.

The launch night also hosted the Nha Trang induction ceremony of Disciples Escoffier Vietnam, placing Nha Trang on the international map of French culinary excellence and heritage.

We cook together, we laugh together, and we serve guests who truly appreciate gastronomy – that is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do,” said Chef Sakal Phoeung, President of Disciples Escoffier Vietnam. “French culinary tradition has given us a strong foundation, but it is the people, the passion, and the joy of cooking that keep it alive. We are here to fulfill our mission of passing on the Disciples of Escoffier Philosophy, which is to transmit knowledge through training, teaching, and sharing culinary techniques and values with younger generations of chefs.” 

More than a series of wellness events, “Rhythm by the Bay” expressed voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang’s broader vision for hospitality along Vietnam’s central coast. The programme wove together wellbeing, culture, gastronomy, and entertainment as one connected journey, positioning Scenia Bay as a destination where guests can explore, take part in, and truly feel the vibrant energy in the northern part of Nha Trang city.
