Club Med celebrates strong performance in 2025 and primed for 2026 expansion

Vietnam, 27 May, 2026 – Club Med, the global leader in premium all-inclusive holiday experiences, once again delivered strong performance in 2025 in an increasingly challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical environment. Consistent with the performance of the past two years, Club Med continues to deliver solid profitability and resilient growth with key global achievements include:

  • Business Volume (BV): €2,222 million, +4% vs. 2024
  • Operating Margin: up year‑on‑year, in line with strategic ambitions
  • Average Daily Rate (ADR): €241, +5% vs. 2024, driven by its premium positioning
  • Clients: welcomed more than 1.4 million worldwide
  • Average room occupancy rate: 75.8%, up +1.8 percentage points vs. 2024
  • Product portfolio performance: BV growth +10% in mountain Resorts, +4% in sun Resorts, and +5% for the Exclusive Collection, the brand’s luxury range

This trajectory is fuelled by a premium, diversified resort portfolio, its signature all-inclusive concept and an innovative integration of digital strategy and CSR initiatives.

In the East, South Asia, and Pacific (ESAP) region, Club Med achieved remarkable success for its Premium All-Inclusive Resorts:

The ESAP region grew its business volume by 13% year-on-year, welcomed over 300,000 guests from around the globe to 10 of its resorts in ESAP.

This growth was fuelled by an increase of over 21% in our Mountain portfolio spanning Japan, China, and the European Alps alongside an impressive 20% rise for Club Med 2, the brand’s signature French sailing yacht, which underscores a clear market demand toward high-end, aspirational travel.

Rachael Harding, CEO of Club Med ESAP, said “Building on the incredible momentum of the past year, 2025 was a testament to the enduring power of the Club Med spirit. In our 75th anniversary year, we have proven that true luxury is defined in the freedom to reconnect with nature, with family and with oneself. As we step into our next chapter, we continue to elevate the ‘l’Esprit Libre’ experience as we focus on anticipating the needs of the modern travellers through innovation, multicultural hospitality and a commitment to sustainable, high-value growth.”

Bruno Courbet, Country Director of Club Med Thailand, Indonesia, India and New Markets, said “Travelers from Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei and other new markets in Southeast Asia are no longer just looking for leisure; they want active, social, and culturally rich experiences. As we expand our footprint in 2026 with new flagship openings like Borneo, we are ready to offer these emerging markets a more vibrant way to explore unique destinations.”

As the global travel landscape continues to evolve, three key trends are on-track to shape ESAP travellers in the next 12 months:

1. “Whycation”

The “why” behind a trip is now more influential than the “where”. are prioritizing emotional fulfillment over geographical markers, seeking “Whycations” that offer deep nature immersion and tangible skill-building. Despite macroeconomic uncertainties, the demand for meaningful connection to people, place and purpose remain resilient.  Club Med Resorts serve as the ultimate backdrop for this intentionality. With its signature all-inclusive concept, it removes the friction of planning, allowing guests to focus on the “why”, whether that is reconnecting with family through our redesigned holiday experiences or discovering a new passion through local excursions and in resort activities.

2. Sports Tourism

Hospitality is fast becoming a third-space for sport, a primary driver for travel. From serving up lifestyle sport experiences to more focused activities such as “run-cations” and global spectacles like the Olympics and World Cup. 2026 marks new peak in specialised sports travel, with enthusiasts seeking “high-performance training grounds” rather than simple leisure stays. Padel, in particular, is driving a surge in tournament-based travel packages. As the “world’s largest sports club,” Club Med is at the uniquely positioned at the forefront of this trend with over 20 included sports. Riding on the wave of this fresh take on classical tennis, Club Med, in true pioneer spirit, launched the inaugural Club Med Padel Cup across the ESAP region in 2025 to great success, setting the stage for many in the industry to follow in similar fashion. This has also led to a strong demand for its return with Club Med Padel Cup 2.0 scheduled for 2026.

3. Hushpitality

Modern luxury is being redefined as “Hushpitality”, a shift toward quiet, sensory well-being and the elimination of decision fatigue. Discerning travellers are seeking hands-off luxury, where the experience is so carefully orchestrated that they are relieved of all planning and logistics. In Club Med, the signature all-inclusive model is the ultimate facilitator for hassle-free travel. By seamlessly integrating gourmet dining, professional childcare, sports and entertainment into a single upfront experience, Club Med deliver on their brand promise where they handle the complexities so their guests can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the moment, free from the stress of the “what’s next”.
