The 2024 Promotion Program for Vietnam- Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Will Be Organised in Australia

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney will organise the Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Program event in 02 Australian states including New South Wales and Victoria state from May 13-17, 2024.

The program aims to offer up-to-date insights into Vietnam’s vibrant tourism situation, particularly within Ho Chi Minh City, showcasing its diverse products and services. It also facilitates connections between Vietnamese tourism enterprises and Australian counterparts, including overseas tour organisers, travel companies, MICE event organisers, and media. This gathering in Australia support enhanced interactions, enabling both Australian and Vietnamese stakeholders to exchange experiences, explore collaborative opportunities, and strengthen partnerships within the tourism sector.

The Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Program in New South Wales State will take place in 2 days (May 13 and May 14, 2024) at Parramatta Town Hall, 182 Church Street, Parramatta NSW 2150.

Meanwhile, the “Promoting Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism to the Public” (B2C) program is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 13, 2024, and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 14, 2024. Key activities include showcasing spaces featuring typical tourism products and services from Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as highlighting tourism OCOP products. More than 25 booths will host businesses introducing and promoting tourist attractions and tours in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City, offering incentives such as air tickets and tourism services. Visitors can also immerse themselves in traditional culture and art, including making to he, crafting conical hats, and drawing ao dai, alongside Vietnamese Ao Dai performances and cultural exchanges featuring traditional folk musical instruments.

The Vietnam – Australia Tourism Business Connection Program (B2B) is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 14, 2024. This segment will feature the Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Conference, Vietnam-Australia Tourism Business Connection Program (B2B Meetings), and cultural and art exchange programs spotlighting Vietnamese tourism, particularly from the Southern region and Ho Chi Minh City.

The Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Program in Victoria State will take place from 13:00 – 17:00 on May 17, 2024 at Crown Towers Melbourne Hotel, Australia. Activities taking place at the Program include: Investment – Trade – Tourism Promotion Conference in Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam and Victoria State, Australia, Vietnam – Australia Tourism Business Connection Program (B2B).

The Australian tourist market is one of the markets that still maintains growth in Vietnam and is full of development potential as it is continuously in the top 10 tourist markets to Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City in the past year.
