Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 20 October 2026 – Some of the most enjoyable moments are those when we have the freedom to decide how to spend our time. On Sunday, 18 October, Serene & Free brought that idea to life at Serene Saigon, presenting an intimate celebration of wellbeing, personal expression and shared experiences in honour of Vietnamese Women’s Day.

Co-organised by Yoga Pod, Serene Saigon, The Brand Promise and Club Med, the gathering offered a fresh perspective on the occasion, bringing people together to celebrate the women in their lives while enjoying time for their own wellbeing. Designed around different physical, emotional and creative needs, the programme encouraged guests to explore new interests, reconnect with themselves and share experiences with others.
From the collective energy of outdoor yoga to the freedom of choosing between sound and art, each experience complemented the next, giving participants room to find their own balance between movement, rest and creativity.
Where movement meets music
Under the gentle morning sun, the outdoor Yoga Flow brought a lively yet unhurried start to Serene & Free. Guided by Phuong Vu from Yoga Pod, the session unfolded alongside live music from Nguyen Phuc, whose resonant handpan and delicate string melodies complemented Serene Saigon’s green surroundings. Together, movement and music encouraged participants to connect with their breathing, explore their bodies’ capabilities and move at their own pace.

The grass beneath their feet added a little challenge of its own. Finding balance on the natural ground brought the occasional wobble, met with open smiles and shared laughter. With Phuong’s guidance and Phúc’s music accompanying each movement, these spontaneous moments brought a playful quality to the practice, where enjoying the process became just as rewarding as holding a steady pose.

For experienced practitioners and newcomers alike, the session offered a refreshing way to experience yoga, bringing together physical movement, live music and the openness of nature in a shared moment of enjoyment.
Different expressions of a little time for ourselves
Following the Yoga Flow, the morning settled into a more leisurely pace. Over light refreshments, guests explored the art exhibition, enjoyed the surrounding greenery and shared conversations before continuing with an experience of their choice: Sound Bath or Art Workshop. The two sessions offered distinct ways to unwind, inviting guests to explore the quiet pleasure of stillness or the joy of hands-on creativity.
Guided by Sound to Soul, the Sound Bath offered a gentle transition into relaxation. In an intimate, softly lit setting, singing bowls, chimes and a large gong created layers of resonating sound, inviting participants to turn their attention inward, let go of everyday distractions and settle into a moment of deep calm.

Meanwhile, the Art Workshop offered a playful exploration of colour, texture and personal expression. Working with mosaic pieces, guests experimented with shapes and patterns to create personalised coasters, enjoying the process of bringing their ideas to life and taking home a keepsake reflecting their individual style.

Together, the two experiences reflected the different ways people find enjoyment and fulfilment, from the comfort of slowing down to the satisfaction of creating something by hand. This freedom to choose captured the spirit of Serene & Free, allowing each guest to make the morning their own.
Bringing ‘The Art of Free Time’ closer to everyday life
“The purpose of life is to be happy. The place to be happy is here. The time to be happy is now.”

What began as Gérard Blitz’s vision for Club Med has grown into a philosophy that continues to shape how the brand celebrates happiness, discovery and the pleasure of being present. Today, that spirit continues through The Art of Free Time, Club Med’s global campaign celebrating the freedom to enjoy life on one’s own terms. Serene & Free brought this movement closer to everyday life, where happiness could be found in the simplest moments: moving to music, discovering a new interest, enjoying the company of others or simply appreciating the present.

Extending the experience beyond the event, Club Med offered a three-day, two-night holiday for two at Club Med Phuket as the grand lucky-draw prize. Set beside Phuket’s Kata Beach, the resort brings together sports, wellness, Thai cultural experiences and entertainment through Club Med’s signature premium all-inclusive hospitality. With the details of a holiday taken care of, guests have the freedom to discover new interests, unwind by the sea and enjoy quality time together at their own pace.
A celebration of individuality and shared joy
Vietnamese Women’s Day is an occasion to recognise and appreciate the women who enrich our families, workplaces and communities. Through Serene & Free, the celebration also became an invitation for everyone to reconnect with themselves, explore personal interests and enjoy time together.
Throughout the morning, joy took many forms: the energy of moving in harmony, the quiet resonance of sound, the satisfaction of creating something by hand and the conversations shared in between. Each experience offered a different way to enjoy personal time, while creating opportunities for new discoveries and genuine connections.
The celebration continued through a selection of gifts from Beinks Yoga, including yoga mats and accessories, encouraging guests to carry the enjoyment of movement and mindful living into their everyday routines.

Behind the experience was a collaboration that brought together each partner’s strengths: Yoga Pod in mindful movement, Serene Saigon in lifestyle and recreation, The Brand Promise in creative direction, planning and communications, and Club Med in celebrating the joy of discovery, spontaneity and the freedom to enjoy life on one’s own terms.
As Serene & Free came to a close, the morning left a simple perspective worth carrying forward: the pleasure of free time lies in the freedom to make it our own, whether through personal discoveries or moments shared with others.
