On November 18 in Ninh Binh, VNAT and SECO hosted the International Conference on Sustainable Tourism Development in the Greater Mekong Subregion. Over 100 delegates discussed collaborative strategies for sustainable tourism amidst climate challenges. Vietnam showcased its tourism growth and leadership, advocating for a unified approach aligning with the 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy.

Ninh Binh – Vietnam’s Ancient Capital in Northen Vietnam
Far too few travellers make it to Ninh Binh province of Vietnam, a mesmerizing area known locally as ‘Hạ Long Bay on Land’ thanks to its magical riverine landscape, with sheer limestone mountains rising up from the paddies. The best way to get a sense of this UNESCO-protected site is by taking a paddleboat tour along its shimmering rivers, and climbing to the top of its fabled peaks.
