More than 200,000 visitors are expected to attend the fourth Vietnam Bread Festival 2026, scheduled to take place at Le Van Tam Park in Ho Chi Minh City from April 23 to 26.
This year’s edition will feature around 150 booths, with nearly 100 already confirmed, according to organizers at a press conference held on March 19.

The festival will offer a diverse range of culinary experiences, alongside promotional activities, cultural programmes, and trade engagement opportunities.
Food safety remains a top priority, with organizers working closely with the municipal Department of Food Safety to ensure strict compliance with hygiene standards throughout the event.
Key highlights include the Pagett Award competition, specialized seminars on positioning Vietnamese bread as a global culinary brand, and experiential spaces tracing the evolution of the iconic dish. Creative installations, such as a lotus-shaped structure and an Eiffel Tower replica made entirely of bread, will also be featured.

Across the four-day programme, visitors can enjoy record-setting attempts, performances showcasing 50 vegetarian dishes served with bread, live music, souvenir stalls, culinary trade zones, and initiatives supporting bread-cart start-ups.
Introduced to Vietnam more than 150 years ago, bánh mì has evolved into a distinctive culinary symbol, shaped by local creativity and cultural influences. Previous editions of the festival have attracted strong public interest, reflecting the growing global appeal of this iconic Vietnamese street food.
