Starbucks opens Asia’s highest store in Vietnam’s Mount Fansipan

Starbucks has opened Asia’s highest store on Mount Fansipan in Vietnam, offering coffee with stunning views at 3,147 meters. Located at the Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car arrival station, the café features glass walls for expansive vistas. Fansipan attracts visitors to Sa Pa, a historical French colonial retreat.

Starbucks launched Asia’s highest store on Saturday atop Mount Fansipan, Vietnam’s 3,147-meter peak known as the “Roof of Indochina,” where visitors sip coffee amid panoramic cloud views.

The outlet occupies the arrival station of the Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car in Sa Pa, featuring expansive glass walls for unobstructed mountain vistas, as announced on the company’s Facebook page.

Accessible via a three-rope cable car system, Fansipan draws hikers and tourists to the northern highlands. Sa Pa, once a French colonial summer retreat, retains landmarks like its stone church and Indochina-style resorts.

Globally, Starbucks operates similar scenic cafés, such as the Fujikawa Service Area outlet overlooking Mount Fuji in Japan.
