Last Sunday, the Sirena and Costa Serena brought over 3,000 international passengers to Khanh Hoa Province. The area welcomed 25 cruise ships in 2025 and expects 35 more by 2026. Improved port infrastructure and flexibility for operators have strengthened Khanh Hoa’s role as a prominent cruise destination in central Vietnam.
Last Sunday, the Sirena, registered in the Bahamas, docked at Cam Ranh International Port, while the Costa Serena, flying the Italian flag, anchored in Nha Trang Bay, bringing more than 3,000 international passengers to Khanh Hoa Province.

Upon arrival, visitors disembarked for short excursions to Nha Trang’s key attractions, as well as rural and coastal areas in the southern part of the province, according to the local Department of Tourism.
Khanh Hoa welcomed 25 international cruise ships carrying over 30,000 passengers in 2025. Looking ahead, the province expects approximately 35 additional cruise calls through the end of 2026, with many large vessels accommodating between 2,500 and 3,500 passengers.
Tourism officials attribute the recovery of cruise tourism to improved port infrastructure, noting that cruise operators now have greater flexibility following the reopening of facilities in late 2025. Ships can currently choose to berth at either Ana Marina Nha Trang International Port or Cam Ranh Port, strengthening Khanh Hoa’s position as a key cruise gateway in central Vietnam.
