Hyatt debuts Unscripted brand globally with Wink Vietnam deal

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has partnered with Indochina Kajima to incorporate Vietnam’s Wink Hotels into the Unscripted by Hyatt brand, marking its global debut. This integration expands Hyatt’s portfolio in Vietnam from four to ten hotels, adding over 2,000 rooms. Six Wink properties are now included, enhancing Hyatt’s presence in emerging destinations.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Indochina Kajima have announced a strategic agreement bringing Vietnam-based lifestyle hotel brand Wink Hotels into the Unscripted by Hyatt portfolio, marking the global debut of Unscripted by Hyatt. The move significantly expands Hyatt’s footprint in Vietnam, extending its presence to emerging destinations including Cần Thơ, Tuy Hòa, and Hải Phòng.

Under the agreement, six operational Wink properties have joined the Unscripted by Hyatt collection: Wink Saigon Centre, Wink Danang Centre, Wink Danang Riverside, Wink Tuy Hoa Beach, Wink Can Tho Centre, and Wink Hai Phong Centre. An additional property, Wink Hanoi Westlake, is scheduled to open in late 2026. With this integration, Hyatt’s portfolio in Vietnam grows from four to ten hotels, with Wink contributing more than 2,000 rooms across major urban hubs and rising leisure markets.

Indochina Kajima, a joint venture between Indochina Capital and Japan-based Kajima Corporation, reflects Hyatt’s strategy to expand through flexible, conversion-friendly brands in high-growth Asia-Pacific markets.

Michael Piro, CEO of Indochina Capital and Wink, added: “Wink was built on the belief that Vietnamese travelers deserve design-led, technology-enabled hotels without sacrificing personality. Joining Unscripted by Hyatt allows us to scale that vision while staying true to our contemporary ethos, sustainability focus, and distinctly Vietnamese identity with nostalgic touches.”

Part of Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio, Unscripted by Hyatt enables independent brands to retain their individuality while benefiting from Hyatt’s global systems and the World of Hyatt platform, which counts more than 61 million members worldwide.

Founded in 2021, Wink has rapidly established itself in Vietnam with a focus on technology-led operations, contemporary design, and sustainability. Its properties include LEED Gold-certified buildings and initiatives to reduce single-use plastics. While each hotel will maintain its unique character, all Wink properties will adhere to Hyatt’s quality and service standards. To celebrate the integration, World of Hyatt members can earn 500 bonus points per qualifying night at participating Wink hotels from January 1 to March 31, 2026.
