The Business Representation of the German Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate in Vietnam, officially announces the launch of the Wine Tour in Rheinland-Pfalz 2026: “Welcome to the Golden Six Regions.” The program is organised in support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Viniculture of Rheinland-Pfalz, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening Vietnam-Germany cooperation in wine, tourism, hospitality, and related industries.
Designed as a trade-led and experience-driven initiative, the program aims to foster long-term economic exchange, industry connectivity, and cultural understanding between the two countries, using Rheinland-Pfalz’s globally recognised wine heritage as a platform for collaboration.
Tasting “Gold in a Glass” – A story from the sunlit land Rheinland-Pfalz
Rheinland-Pfalz, or Rhineland-Palatinate, is located in the western region of Germany and is home to six of the country’s most renowned wine-growing regions: Ahr, Mittelrhein, Mosel, Nahe, Pfalz, and Rheinhessen. With more than 2,000 years of winemaking and viticultural history, the region is internationally recognised for both the quality and diversity of its wines, representing a distinctive balance between heritage, innovation, and sustainable development. Each wine-growing area in the state carries its own story, shaped over centuries, where tradition is preserved alongside continuous innovation by generations of winemakers.
This philosophy is captured in the regional expression of “Taste our gold in a glass.” The phrase reflects Rhineland-Palatinate’s pride in its wine industry, where value is created through land, climate, craftsmanship, and time. “Gold,” in this sense, does not refer to material worth alone, but to cultural depth, quality, and the experience embodied in every glass.
Through the Wine Tour in Rheinland-Pfalz 2026, the host region seeks to deepen engagement with Vietnam as an emerging and dynamic market, while supporting structured trade dialogue, professional exchange, and direct market access for producers and industry stakeholders. The initiative forms part of Rheinland-Pfalz’s broader efforts to promote international cooperation, export readiness, and destination-based economic development.

Linking Trade, Culture, and Collaboration
The initiative brings together professionals and brands across wine, tourism, hospitality, and F&B who are open to exploring new markets and cross-sector collaboration, including Beyoutiful Vietnam, Vietnam’s first lifestyle concierge and educational service brand dedicated to empowering women through experience-led learning, cultural exchange, and community engagement, along with other interested organisations.
Participation is currently open to businesses and professionals seeking international exposure and practical engagement beyond traditional trade formats.
At the core of the program is direct access to Rheinland-Pfalz wine producers and regional ecosystems. Through curated visits and on-site exchanges, participants gain first-hand insight into how heritage, craftsmanship, and sustainability shape wine production, while also understanding the role of gastronomy and tourism in building destination identity and premium value.
For Vietnamese participants, the program offers tangible outcomes, from sourcing and partnership opportunities to a broader perspective on how lifestyle, place, and industry intersect in global markets. This immersive approach supports long-term collaboration and equips participants with knowledge and connections that extend beyond the duration of the program itself.
