This momentum was reflected at Noi Bai International Airport, which handled around 115,000 passengers on January 4, representing a 5-10% increase over normal volumes. The launch of new international routes further strengthened Hanoi’s position as a growing regional aviation hub.

On the international front, the winter 2025 flight schedule continued to expand, with several new airlines launching routes to Hanoi, including Hainan Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Etihad Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, and Spring Airlines. At the same time, multiple existing carriers increased flight frequencies, further strengthening Hanoi’s position as a regional aviation hub.
