The Westerdam and Star Voyager carried over 3,100 passengers eager to explore Quang Ninh’s attractions, including Ha Long Bay and its landmarks. The cruise season, running from October to April, aims for 70,000 passengers with significant repeat visits. Quang Ninh aspires to attract over 21 million visitors by 2025.

During their stay, visitors experienced some of Quang Ninh’s most iconic landmarks, including scenic cruises across Ha Long Bay, the Quang Ninh Museum, Ha Long Market, spiritual tourism sites, and the panoramic Queen Cable Car.
The Star Voyager set sail again at 6:00 p.m. on November 11, followed by the Westerdam’s departure at 9:00 p.m. on November 12.

This event marks the vibrant start of Quang Ninh’s cruise tourism season, which runs from October to April, featuring around 60 scheduled voyages and an estimated 70,000 passengers. To date, the province has welcomed nearly 50 international cruise calls, carrying approximately 60,000 travelers – many of them repeat visitors as major cruise lines return to Quang Ninh up to six times a year.
These promising developments reaffirm Quang Ninh’s growing appeal as a premier global cruise destination, setting a strong foundation for the province’s 2025 goal of welcoming over 21 million visitors, including 4.5 million international tourists.
