On the 18th December 2024, PYS Travel launches the first luxury railway journey across Việt Nam, marking a new milestone in railway tourism. The train, named SJourney, is dubbed “super luxurious,” with a ticket price of up to 200 million VND per guest for the 8 Day, 7 Night journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.
Inspired by the unique history of Vietnam’s railway industry, which is closely linked to the length of Vietnam’s modern history, the founder of SJourney Express aims to convey a sense of nostalgia in contemporary luxury. More than just a luxury means of transportation, the birth of SJourney Express is a new highlight of the luxury tourism industry in Vietnam, in an effort to introduce Vietnam as the perfect destination for luxury holidays.

Described as a delicate combination of the charm of the East and the golden age of the Trans-Indochina trains of the 1930s with contemporary luxury, SJourney Express offers visitors a complete premium experience and the opportunity to explore the highlights of the journey along the North and South.

The SJourney train, with its 13 carriages (10 sleepers and 02 bistros), accommodates up to 60 passengers per trip. Each sleeping cabin is equipped with the amenities of a high-class hotel room, including a private bathroom and Indochinese-style furnishings.

The two bistro carriages, featuring a restaurant, bar, and lounge, are a highlight of the journey. With spacious space and cozy interior, the bistro deivers the luxury experience meeting customer needs. The diverse menu, showcasing both Vietnamese and international cuisine, is curated through an exclusive culinary program.
On an 8 Day, 7 Night journey (costing 7,320 USD in December 2024 and 8,610 USD from January 2025), travelers will depart from Hanoi to Saigon or vice versa, visiting culturally rich and beautiful places like Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, and Phan Thiet. At each stop, visitors can enjoy unique cultural experiences and take in the scenic views along the train route.

The train has now gone into operation with a frequency of 02 trips in December 2024 and 05 trips per month in 2025. In a year, the train will serve about 2,000 guests, targeting the high-paying tourist segment. Currently, the number of pre-booked guests is fully booked for the entire year of 2025.
