VietJet Air currently operates a robust network of seven routes connecting major cities in Vietnam and Australia. This includes services from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. The airline’s focus on expanding its Australian footprint is driven by the increasing demand for travel between the two countries, fueled by strong economic ties, cultural exchange, and growing tourism interest.
Enhanced services for the winter season
In a bid to cater to the heightened demand during the peak winter season, VietJet Air has announced several operational adjustments to its Australia routes. These changes are designed to offer passengers more flexibility, convenience, and a superior travel experience.
- Ho Chi Minh City to Brisbane: Increase from four to five weekly flights, starting from 14th December 2024 to 28th February 2025, operated by Airbus A330-300.
- Ho Chi Minh City to Perth: Increase from three to four weekly flights, starting from 10th December 2024 to 12th January 2025, operated by Airbus A321.
