[August 20, 2021] – Meet the Expert: Australian Hospitality Alumni Network Vietnam is pleased to welcome Mr Morgan Ulaganathan to join our network as an Industry Expert and an outstanding Australian hospitality alumnus from The Hotel School Sydney, Australia. Morgan is currently the Executive Assistant Manager (Rooms) at New World Phu Quoc Resort – a member of Rosewood Hotel Group.

Professional Experiences
Prior to his newest appointment at New World Phu Quoc Resort, Morgan have worked at some of the most respected hotels in the world, commencing his career at the Hilton Singapore and subsequently serving at several top establishments in Sydney before taking on management duties at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth and Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. In May 2012, Morgan was appointed as the Front Office Manager at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and most recently in May 2016, he was promoted to the Director of Rooms at the prestigious Caravelle Saigon. Some of his notable guests over the years have included Vladimir Putin, Hillary Clinton, Tony Blair, Prince Al-Waleed, Prince Phillip, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and the families of Rothschild, Hermes, Picasso and Gates.

Education Background:
Morgan’s studies have also taken him around the globe, notably to Cornell and Nanyang University for his Executive MBA, as well as UC Berkeley, INSEAD and The Hotel School Sydney.
