Tourism and Hospitality Forum 2023

Event overview

[RMIT University Vietnam] Globally, the tourism sector has been among the hardest hit by the pandemic, and unprecedented social changes have cast uncertainty across all tourism segments. As the global travel industry strives to recover from the setbacks caused by COVID-19, additional uncertainty arises from the advent of new technologies, notably Artificial Intelligence and cryptocurrency.

In this transformative era, every company faces a crucial mission: to survive or not. However, for an emerging destination like Vietnam, the current challenges can be harnessed as an opportunity to ascend to the pinnacle of the market, capitalising on its youthful workforce and swift adoption of new technologies beyond mere survival.

To transform this challenge into a new opportunity, it becomes increasingly vital for industry experts, academic researchers, and other stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality sector to collectively address shared challenges and exchange information to stay abreast of the evolving times

Join us at the forum to engage in discussions about the latest industry trends and prospects, while also presenting solutions to the challenges encountered by the entire tourism sector in Vietnam. We will welcome leaders from Booking.com, Qatar Airways, Sofitel Saigon Plaza, and many more along with RMIT Tourism & Hospitality Management’s alumni who have become successful practitioners in the field, will also attend.
